• This CD was developed to help you learn how to accompany commonly played fiddle tunes with your guitar.  A selection of tunes is provided in the most common fiddle key, D.  These tunes are all traditional tunes and very commonly played in fiddle jams.

• The tunes are played three times on the CD.  The first time through, the tune is played at what we would consider a standard dance tempo with the fiddle, bass and guitar.  The idea behind this track is to simply give you an idea of how the tune should sound. 

• The second track is played at a slower pace, usually 90 beats per minute (bpm) or less.  Just the fiddle is playing, no accompaniment.  This track is designed to let you learn to hear the chord changes within the fiddle tune and learn to follow those changes.  This booklet provides a common chord chart for each tune on the CD.  This chord chart is intended for a guide only and a learning tool. 

• The third track for each tune is played with the fiddle playing lead and with bass accompaniment. The guitar track has been eliminated.  YOU provide the guitar accompaniment!

• Each track may be set to repeat if you wish to play it multiple times.

  You'll also receive a booklet with chord charts and explanations.
