January 2005
       8 - Southern Jubilee Cassadega Contra Dance - 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
               Contra dancing is MUCH fun! Come and join us!
               Beginners are always welcome!  Eric Harris calling.
       9 -  Jackson Creek performs at "Music in the Gazebo" Langford Park.

      11 -  Jackson Creek performs at the  Deland Tourist Club  8:00 p.m.
      14 - 16  South Florida Folk Festival  
                    Sat. 15th: Southern Jubilee  2 - 4 p.m. English Country Dance
                    Sun. 16th: Southern Jubilee 12 - 2 p.m. Joe Zang's Waltz Workshop
                   There are always super jams at this festival!

      22 -  Jackson Creek performs at a "pottery experience"
                   with Kim Lemonakis.  (private event)
      29 - Jackson Creek performs for the Sons of Confederate Veterans
                  Dinner / Dance in Fruitland Park. (private event)

February 2005
     12 - Jackson Creek will perform at the Stagecoach Junction
                  Fellowship in Bushnell for a Valentine's Dinner/Contra Dance.  It is
                  open to the public. Contact Pastor Tom Monroe for information
     19 - Jackson Creek performs at the Yalaha Bakery 10 a.m. - noon 
                  Get up out of bed and head to the Yalaha Bakery! It's a wonderful
                  treat to have German pastries, super sandwiches... and stock up
                  healthy breads! We'll look forward to seeing you there!
     25 -  Jackson Creek will perform at the Dickens-Reed Bookstore
                  in Mt. Dora 7-10 p.m.   We will start the evening off at 7 p.m!
                  It's a VERY nice atmosphere. Hope to see you there!!!
     26 -  Southern Jubilee Casselberry Contra Dance  Beginners: 7:30 p.m. 
                 Dance: 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.  Beginners are always welcome!!!!!

March 2005
        5 - 6    Southern Jubilee plays for contra dancing both
                    afternoons at 4:00 p.m. during the Orlando Music Festival at
                    Menello Park.   Dancers... we hope you will come!  Everyone....
                    we hope YOU will come, too!!!   It should be a great festival... with
                    stage performances and dancing!  More info will be available soon.
       12 - 13 Jackson Creek will perform at the Will McLean Festival on
                    Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on the Magnolia stage!  
                    Katie will be teaching a beginning fiddle workshop on Saturday at
                    10:00 a.m!  Get Grandpa or Aunt Nellie's old fiddle out of the closet
                    and let's get started!   Be sure to come to the Gospel sing from
                    9 - 11 a.m. on Sunday morning!
                    This is a WONDERFUL festival! We'll look forward to seeing
                     you there! The festival is located at Sertoma Youth Ranch
                     near Dade City.

       19 - Sawgrass Youth Fiddle Festival  Paynes Prairie Preserve Park, 
                   Gainesville, Florida.  Katie will be a judge and host a beginning
                   fiddle workshop.   Adults are welcome, too!!!

      2 - 3   Jackson Creek performs at the 40th Annual Deland Spring
                   Art Festival at 2:15 on Sunday, April 3rd!
                   There will be wonderful art and music all weekend long!
                   Joe Waller Folkfiddle Sound Productions provides sound
                   for all performing groups Saturday and Sunday!

                Spring Music and Dance Frolic!  Joe and Katie and Jackson Creek are organizing the music and dance for this event! There will be many acoustic musicians performing, workshops, contra dancing, children's activities and much MORE!  Keep watching for updates! Bring your friends!!!                     "Earth Day Celebration!"
                There will be performances from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

           19 - Katie, Joe and Pete present demonstration for Kathy Weis's
                   string classes at Seabreeze High School (Daytona Beach) and
                   Ormond Beach Middle Schools. 
           20 - Jackson Creek will present demonstration programs for
                   all students at Enterprise Elementary School. 
                   We will be happy to bring a program to YOUR school also!

      26 - 29 Florida Folk Festival in White Springs.
                        It's a WONDERFUL weekend of folk music and folk arts!

                 Old Time Family Christmas Celebration. Hope to see everyone there!
         17 - Jackson Creek performs at the Yalaha Bakery 10 a.m. - noon 
                 We love doing some holiday songs for this weekend at the
                bakery! Katie looks forward all year to playing "Jingle Bells"
                on her fiddle!!! :)  Please put it on your calendar!
