Musician Performer and Musician Volunteer Application
Please
submit by Friday, July 31, 2015
We
expect
that…
- There
will be 7 performance stages.
There will be no sound systems except for the Depot
Stage and for the dance bands in the schoolhouse.
This festival focuses on acoustic folk
music. ♫♫♫
- There
will be two workshop tents and two jam tents and that there will be
contra dancing both days in the schoolhouse.
- Performers
and one guest will enter the festival without charge.
Each performer/musician volunteer will receive a meal ticket for each
day they
perform.
Each performer’s guest will only receive entrance to the festival.
All performances will be on a volunteer basis. The Settlement is not
able to pay a stipend.
- Performers
may sell CDs after performances, jams, or workshops and at the Friends
of FL Folk (FOFF) booth.
- IMPORTANT CHANGE:
Because it gets so very complicated to schedule bands whose members
perform in multiple groups we will need to contact those people and ask
them to prioritze.
We will try... but will only be able to guarantee scheduling around two bands/groups.
Thank you for understanding this.
-
Please
help us by being as specific as possible with the application...
and check for time restrictions with everyone in
your group before submitting the application.
Thanks so much!
